Our members are high school juniors and seniors (started out sophomores and juniors) who come together to ask big questions about life, work, and the future. They represent curiosity, grit, and a willingness to learn from those who’ve walked ahead.
Our speakers are accomplished leaders from across Austin and beyond — executives, entrepreneurs, public servants, and community builders — who share the real stories of how they started, the setbacks they faced, and the lessons they learned along the way.
To give young men a laid-back, conversational setting where they can hear the stories behind success — the early beginnings, detours, and lessons that don’t always show up on a résumé.
As a highschool group, our goal is to share the many different paths to a meaningful and successful life — not through textbooks, but through real voices and lived experience. Success can come from luck, hard work, faith, relationships, failure — or often, all of the above. By listening to the honest reflections of those who’ve walked before them, we hope these young men will gain a deeper understanding of what it means to lead and live well.
Take a look at our past speakers and the upcoming list of people we’re inviting to join us. We are always looking for great speakers who are invested in mentoring the next generation and willing to share the real stories behind their success. In a laid-back setting, our speakers talk openly about the early beginnings, the missteps, and the decisions that shaped their path. The boys are especially interested in the backstory — how grit, persistence, and adaptability matter just as much as talent. For speakers, it’s also a chance to reflect on your own journey and connect with an audience that’s curious, honest, and hungry to learn. Every conversation has the potential to spark a lasting impact long after the evening ends.
